Kolon Glotech’s artificial leathers are human-friendly products and they are applied with VOC Controls (VC) technology which reduces Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) of artificial leathers’ representative harmful substances such as benzene, toluene, xylene and etc. Based on VC technology, we enhanced human-friendly feature compared to previous artificial leather products. Such high functional artificial leathers are applicable in various products such as car interior, furniture, home interior, fashion, and baby goods. We promise to continue our research and development for improving the performance of artificial leather.

Artificial leather Car Seats: The artificial leather for car seat requires high durability against heat, fire, and light for its characteristic. Since artificial leather seat is applied to the interior space of the sealed car, detection of harmful substances polluting the air in the car is significant factor. The representative quality index for artificial leather is Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC). VOC is a common index for all products applied with artificial leather such as car seat and furniture. If VOC is released over the base line, it pollutes air quality and it may even cause health issues. We developed a technology for reducing VOC dramatically and we already succeeded in commercialization. We are also applying various post-processing technologies such as EMBO and PUNCHING on our products.
